SALDO (Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance)
Like the Zoning Ordinance, the Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance (SALDO) is a key document in determining the physical characteristics and landscape of a community. And like zoning, SALDO is due for an update.
To expedite that effort, in January of 2018, the Board of Commissioners appointed a five-member committee consisting of the members of the Township Planning and Zoning Department, the Township Engineer, the Township Manager and a Montgomery County Planning Commission representative to draft a comprehensive amendment to SALDO. The goal is to submit the completed draft to the Commissioners’ Building and Zoning Committee for review at public meetings before the end of 2018.
