Citizen Committees

Some 800 residents help shape our community by volunteering their talents, interests and expertise as members of various Township volunteer organizations.

Residents interested in joining any of the citizen committees below should submit a letter to the Township Manager's office.  Only registered voters (if eligible to vote) who live in Cheltenham Township may serve. Citizens are appointed by the full board during the regular Commissioners’ meetings. Term lengths vary from one to four years.
  • All meetings are open to the public. You don't have to be a member to attend.
  • Meeting schedules/locations are subject to change. Check specific meetings in the Township Calendar.
  • Click here to review past Agendas and Minutes.
Unless otherwise noted, citizen committee meetings are held at the Township Administration Building, 8230 Old York Road, Elkins Park.
