Environmental Advisory Council

Established in 2007 to protect, conserve and manage the use of natural resources like air, water and land in the Township in a sustainable way, the Environmental Advisory Council (EAC) is a seven-member citizen's committee that advises the Township on various environmental issues affecting Cheltenham Township, including healthy watersheds, managing energy and emissions, climate change concerns, mobility, healthy living, sustainability. The EAC generally meets on the third Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at the Township Administration Building located at 8230 Old York Road, Elkins Park, PA, 19027. Due to COVID-19, meetings are currently held via Zoom, and the meeting links will be included in the monthly agendas.
