UPDATE: April 25
On April 4, 2019, PennDOT hosted a community meeting at Glenside Memorial Hall to present plans for improvements on Church Road including and between the intersections of Rices Mill Road and Greenwood Avenue. The bid process is anticipated to begin in the last half of 2020, with construction to begin early 2021.

At the April 17th Board of Commissioners meeting the Township Manager was asked to invite PennDOT to the May 1st Public Works meeting, but PennDOT is unable to attend the May 1st meeting. The Township Manager reached out to Montgomery County and they are working to schedule a meeting with the PennDOT, Cheltenham Township and Montgomery County to discuss this project and share resident concerns.  This meeting will be a technical review meeting with PennDOT's design team, elected and appointed officials, as well as state representatives. Resident comments will be presented at this meeting, and a summary of what transpired at the meeting will be shared at a  future Public Works monthly meeting.

The comments period is extended due to the pending meeting that is being scheduled. Please fill out this Short Form  as a way to share your voice and concerns on this project. All comments submitted will go to the commissioners and be submitted to PennDOT and presented at meeting being scheduled. Cheltenham Township will be sure all resident comments are heard.
