Join us for the 25th Annual Empty Bowl Benefit Dinner and be a part of an important community service event. Our purpose for the dinner is to bring awareness to our surrounding community of the hunger and homelessness present both locally and globally. 

Attendees will choose a ceramic bowl, handcrafted by a community member, to be used as their soup bowl for the evening. The bowl is filled with wonderful soups donated by area businesses, restaurants, and individuals from Arcadia University and the surrounding community. The bowl is then taken home to serve as a reminder that for many people around the world, an empty bowl is the reality of their mealtime.

100% of the proceeds benefit two agencies assisting the hungry and the homeless. This year's proceeds will benefit the Philadelphia Interfaith Hospitality Network, a local agency that provides temporary shelter and food to homeless families, and Rise Against Hunger, an international program which provides crisis response, nutritious meals, and empowerment initiatives to those affected by natural disasters and those in impoverished areas.

Tickets are $15 for general admission or $12 for all students and children (K–college). Guests are asked to purchase a ticket either online or at the door AND bring a non-perishable food item with you to the dinner.

You can pay using a credit or debit card and you will be redirected to PayPal for secure checkout. You do not need a PayPal account in order to check out using this system. There is an additional $1.00 charge included in the price of all online tickets.

Select your ticket type  ('student admission' for all students K–college or 'general admission' for all other tickets) and the time you wish to attend using the feature below, then click 'add to cart'. During checkout, you can specify the number of tickets you wish to purchase. If you would like both student and general admission tickets, you will have to add them to your cart separately then the total will appear at check out
