BID POLICY
Operating and capital projects with budgets expected to exceed $10,000 must be awarded by legal bid in accordance with the Pennsylvania Public Bidding Laws and Cheltenham Township Home Rule Charter.  Professional services are exempt; however, the Township typically advertises “Requests for Proposals” for professional consultants.

Cheltenham Township publishes all Bid Notices in the Times Chronicle [Montgomery Newspapers, Fort Washington, PA] or The Intelligencer [Calkins Media Inc., Doylestown, PA] newspapers.

Bid Notices for capital projects involving construction and projects involving state or federal grants are also submitted to:
·        Construction Information Systems
·        Construction Market Data
·        Construction News
·        Dodge Reports.
