Cheltenham Township is fortunate to enjoy a variety of youth athletic organizations. Thousands of Township youngsters compete in these independent, non-profit leagues each year. The volunteers who run these groups spend hundreds of hours every season planning, scheduling, coaching and fund-raising. Their labors offer Cheltenham youngsters greater opportunities to play different sports, develop new skills and enjoy good, clean fun. The Cheltenham Township Parks and Recreation Department works with many of the organizations listed to coordinate schedules and facilities.
