Standing Committees of the Board
Committees usually meet at the Township Administration Building, located at 8230 Old York Road in Elkins Park. However, Public Affairs, Public Safety and Building & Zoning Committee meetings will be held at Curtis Hall, 1250 W. Church Road, Wyncote, through June 2010.

Public Affairs - For topics of general interest

Usually 1st Wednesday each month @ 7:00PM

Public Safety- For topics relating to police, fire or emergency medical services, traffic issues, etc.
Chair: Charles D. McKeown, Sr.

Usually 1st Wednesday each month@ 7:30PM

Building and Zoning- For topics relating to building construction, the zoning code, Zoning Hearing Board appeals and decisions, etc.
Chair: Michael J. Swavola

Usually 1st Wednesday each month@ 8:00PM

Public Works - For topics relating to refuse, recycling, leaf collection, roads, street signs, etc.
Chair: Art Haywood

Usually 2nd Wednesday each month @ 7:30PM

Parks and Recreation - For topics relating to pools, playgrounds, parks, tennis courts, basketball courts, special events, etc.
Chair: Kathy A, Hampton

Usually 2nd Wednesday in February, April, May, June, September & November,@ 7:00PM

Finance - For topics relating to the budget, expenditures, revenues, etc.
Chair: Michael J. Swavola
