FREE Brush Collection

Recent winter storms knocked down tree limbs all over Cheltenham Township. To assist residents with their clean up, the Township will waive the usual $10 fee for brush collection now through Friday, March 26, 2010.

Glenside Business Improvement District Community Meeting on Tuesday, March 16 from 8:30AM-9:30AM at Glenside Hall, 185 S. Keswick Avenue in Glenside.

 

Cheltenham Township School District wants input from residents on the search for a new Superintendent of Schools. Due by March 17, 2010.

Meeting Location Changes

 The Public Affairs Committee, Public Safety Committee and Building and Zoning Committee meetings on the first Wednesdays of the month will be also held at Curtis Hall from January through June 2010.

First Fridays in Downtown Glenside - Celebrates St. Patrick's Day on March 5. 

National Women's History Month - LaMott Community Center will host the “Harriet Tubman Living History Experience” from 2PM- 4PM on Saturday, March 27.

Black History Month Activities

Display of slavery artifacts and Jim Crow memorabilia on March 6 (rescheduled for March due to February snow).

Video documentary about Camp William Penn and the U.S. Colored Troops that trained there on March 11 (rescheduled for March due to February snow).
